About the show

"Horse Land" is a work by poet and composer José León, which fuses music, poetry and equestrian art in a moving staging. After its success in locations such as Palos de la Frontera, Coín and Andújar, it now comes to Fuengirola to celebrate the beauty of the horse and its link with Andalusian culture, especially doma vaquera.

With a cast of more than 30 horses and 20 live musicians, the show traces the symbolic history of the horse: from its birth in freedom to its presence in popular fairs. Inspired by Master José León's double album/book, who leads the staging, the work also incorporates historical nods and tributes to relevant figures from Fuengirola.
